Sunday School
All 6th-8th graders are welcome to join us for Sunday School on Sunday mornings from 9:30 to 10:45. The class has an interactive format that combines games and studying the Bible.
Missions and Trips
Junior High youth pitch in to serve with many mission projects throughout the year:
- In the past three years, we have traveled all around Texas doing relational and construction mission work. This year we traveled to Orange, Texas to serve those affected by Hurricane Rita and more recently, Ike. These are all incredible experiences open to all youth and their friends.
- Each Fall the Jr. High students go on a mystery trip! This is a great weekend where the students don’t know where they are going, but always have a good time and come back knowing more about their faith.
- United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF)
All youth gather on Sunday evenings from 4:00 to 6:00 pm to serve God and meet friends from the church. We serve dinner at 5:30 pm and it costs $3. Recent activities have included bowling, local mission nights, and a scavenger hunt around Austin.
